Detailed Troubleshooting Guide for 100SL, 200S, 200SL & 300SL

1. Doors do not close :
   
   Check the following:
   
   • PSU - Refer Section 1
   • Cables - Refer Section 2
   • Receiver - Refer Section 3
   • Transmitter - Refer Section 4
   
   
2. Doors open randomly (False Triggering)- For 2D and 3D models :
   
   Check the following:
   
   • Any obstruction due to vandalism (chewing gum/tapes stuck on) etc.
   • Rollers of landing doors or any such obstruction.
   • Proper earthing of the PSU and the Reciever side.
   • Check for electrically “noisy” light fixtures in close proximity of the detectors or powered off the same mains supply as the Microscan.
   
   
3. Doors open randomly (False Triggering)- For 3D models only :
   
   Check the follwoing:
   
   • Check if landing doors are leading the car doors atany point from open to fully closed position. The operation of 3D is based on reflective technology and the 3D would trigger if the 3D beams get reflected off the landing doors.
   • Check for shiny, reflective surfaces on the sill or around the detectors.
   
   
4. Detection does not occcur in some part of the coverage area between the Units :
   
   Check the following:
   
   • Check for shiny, reflective surfaces on the sill or around the detectors.
   • Please contact your nearest TL Jones office/representative if the problem persists.
